The Chakra (translated as "wheel", "hard", "circle") is a concept of their own religious traditions of India, related to yoga and Ayurvedic medicine originated from taking tantric traditions, Hinduism is both Buddhism. In the most common it is usually made even with the "center", to indicate those elements of the subtle body which is believed to reside in the divine energy latent. In Oriental literature it is possible to find many descriptions of the subtle body, and consequently also the chakra system, in relation to different locations, views and functions. The best known of the chakra system descriptions in the academic literature and in the contemporary popular science date back to that disclosed British Orientalist Sir John Woodroffe, a British magistrate at the Supreme Court of Bengal, fond of Tantra that, under the pseudonym Arthur Avalon, published in 1919 a text on this topic, "the serpent power". Each chakra (with the exception of two) would have two halves or poles, one facing the front and the other towards the rear part of the body. Starting from the bottom are: • 1st - Muladhara • 2nd - swadhistana • 3rd - Manipura • 4th - Anahata • 5th - Vhishuddhi • 6th - Ajna • 7th - Sahasrara The second group is composed of minor importance for chakras that you would find in the fingertips, at the center of the palm of the hands, in some areas of the feet, in the language or elsewhere. Among the seven basic chakras, there are specific affinity. • First to Seventh: Basic energy with spiritual energy. • Second and Sixth: Energy of feeling on the material level with the Energy feel extrasensory level. • Third and Fifth: Energy of the operating mind and personal power with the higher mind energy and communication. • Fourth: bridge between the three higher and the three lower and hotbed of alchemical transformation.

The Place Of Narrative written by Marilyn Aronberg Lavin and has been published by University of Chicago Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1990-12-15 with Art categories.

Looking at more than two hundred Italian medieval and Renaissance mural cycles, Lavin examines—with the aid of computer technology—the "rearranged" chronologies of familiar religious stories found therein. "Like many masterpieces, Lavin's book builds upon a simple idea . . . it is possible to do a computer analysis of . . . visual narratives. . . . This is the first computer-based study of the visual arts of which I am aware that illustrates how those technologies can utterly transform the study of old master art. An extremely important book, one likely to become the most influential recent study of art of this period, The Place of Narrative is also a beautiful artifact."—David Carrier, Leonardo "Covering over a millennium and dealing with the whole of Italy, Lavin makes pioneering use of new methodology employing a computer database . . . [and] novel terminology to describe the disposition of scenes of church and chapel walls. . . . We should recognize this as a book of high seriousness which reaches out into new areas and which will fruitfully stimulate much thought on a neglected subject of very considerable significance."—Julian Gardner, Burlington Magazine

A talented and versatile writer, he has published numerous books of poetry, novels, criticism, essays, and plays. He has received major literary prizes (including the Premio Montale) and has translated into Italian the works of Shelley, D.H. Lawrence and Walt Whitman. In this dual-language edition, the first English translation of a complete poetry book by Conte, the editor-translator, Italian-born poet Laura Stortoni, has included a translator's note, biographical and bibliographical data, endnotes and an introduction by Italo Calvino.
