[English]:The volume collects essays dedicated to the Phenomenology of the spirit of G.W.F. Hegel and to some of its main interpretations. It gathers critical essays on the Hegelian masterpiece and studies on Hegel’s influences on authors such as Marx, Gentile, Heidegger, Kojève, Paci, Lacan and Brandom. These contributions investigate some categorical nodes that have marked ensuing ethical, theoretical, philosophical-political and later psychoanalytic reflections: dialectic, culture, negation, desire, body, phenomenon, recognition. Therefore, this collection does not intend to mark a specific interpretation of the Hegelian text. Rather, the authors share the effort to illustrate in actu exercito the possibilities given by these two extremes – the text and its interpretation – in which later philosophical culture has moved. Through this movement the Phenomenology of the spirit continues to produce Philosophy, intended as an opportunity and an instrument for the understanding of "one's own time with thought". In addition to the editors, the volume hosts contributions from: Stefania Achella, Rossella Bonito Oliva, Alessio Calabrese, Teresa Caporale, Alessandro De Cesaris, Giuseppe Antonio Di Marco, Gianluca Garelli, Roberto Morani, Anna Pia Ruoppo./ [Italiano]: Il volume raccoglie saggi dedicati alla Fenomenologia dello spirito di G.W.F. Hegel e ad alcune sue principali interpretazioni. A scritti dal taglio più nettamente storiografico che ne ricostruiscono le influenze in autori quali Marx, Gentile, Heidegger, Kojève, Paci, Lacan e Brandom, si affiancano contributi volti a ricostruire alcuni nodi categoriali che, sollecitati dal testo hegeliano, hanno segnato le riflessioni etiche, teoretiche, filosofico-politiche e psicoanalitiche successive: dialettica, cultura, negazione, desiderio, corpo, fenomeno, riconoscimento. Questa raccolta non intende quindi né riproporre la lettera del testo hegeliano, né avanzare una sua specifica interpretazione. Piuttosto, gli autori hanno condiviso lo sforzo di illustrare in actu exercito le possibilità di movimento tra questi due estremi – testo e interpretazione – tra cui la cultura filosofica si muove. Attraverso questo movimento la Fenomenologia dello spirito continua a produrre filosofia, ossia ad essere occasione e strumento per la comprensione del “proprio tempo col pensiero”.

Se al centro della I Parte sono Croce e Gentile, nella II la scena è dominata da Bertrando Spaventa, l’interprete italiano insieme più fedele e più originale di Hegel. L’ultimo capitolo del libro è dedicato a Enzo Paci, figura eminente della filosofia italiana.

Simone Weil rintraccia nella religiosità autentica – che è spiritualità concreta, vissuta e praticata – quella logica paradossale in grado di destabilizzare ogni forma di potere umano e di contrastare la sua tendenza a occupare il centro della realtà. Weil attua così un processo decostruttivo di una soggettività ipertrofica, attaccandone le forme di autoinganno di cui individua i falsi idoli e risalendo al significato del suo peccato d’origine. In questo processo resta la possibilità, inadempiuta e in attesa, del suo autentico legame con il soprannaturale. Ne risulta una comprensione diversa della storia della soggettività e quindi delle sue potenzialità: un percorso alternativo di rigenerazione, per un’altra storia che non cessa di confluire, intrecciandosi, nella prima. Weil scava dunque nel racconto delle vicende dell’io, per far emergere l’altrimenti che vi è contenuto e che riguarda il significato sacro dell’essere umano nel suo rapporto con il bene.
