La presse quotidienne nationale est proche du coma. Le manque en la matière est tout simplement affligeant et nombre de journalistes sont davantage des moralisateurs politiquement corrects, qui se contentent souvent d'ironiser ou de tenter de discréditer des personnalités politiques qui ne sont pas de leur chapelle politique. Grossière caricature? A peine. Même dans un journal qui se veut de qualité et une référence, citez-nous les journalistes incontournables. Comment fonctionne en réalité un tel journal? Où sont les plumes de qualité, tant revendiquées. Les articles qui font date et qui sont des références, sont en grande partie écrits et offerts par des spécialistes et personnalités extérieurs au journal. Il ne faut pas être injuste, de tels articles viennent aussi de l'intérieur, de la partie économique, entre autres. Mais personne n'ose poser ce problème. Une publication, une radio où foisonnent les textes, des programmes de qualité et qui réussit à se rendre indispensable, a peu de chance de disparaître. Que feraient certains journalistes s'ils n'avaient pas presque quotidiennement le RDPC ou l'une de ses personnalités à se mettre sous la dent?
