Este volumen recoge una serie de trabajos sobre la entrevista. Se detiene en el análisis de todo lo que la conversación cotidiana ha ido aportando, del pacto de colaboración que se establece cuando el personaje acepta conversar con el periodista (abiertamente o con reticencias); de aquellas entrevistas que están enfocadas como un juego entre los dos interlocutores; de las que tienen apariencia de tales, pero en realidad no se han llevado a cabo (haciendo un guiño de picardía, porque no se pretende engañar a los lectores); de las entrevistas que se salen de los medios (escritos o audiovisuales) y pasan literal o ficcionalmente a los libros; de los diálogos literarios como avanzadilla de otros diálogos que vendrían después; del salto que se ha producido al introducirse con toda naturalidad en el soporte digital que ha irrumpido en los últimos años? Al lado de estos capítulos con mayor carga teórica se aporta el análisis de dos casos concretos (la entrevista de Jesús Hermida al Rey Juan Carlos en 2013 y la imaginaria con la princesa Letizia en el semanario Diez Minutos un año después): en ellas se busca aplicar las normas conocidas a realidades con las que se encuentra el lectoro el espectador.
