L’on savait, depuis « Astrologie, théologie, magie et cie », que Claude Ronneau n’avait d’autres objectifs que de dessiller les paupières d’une humanité prisonnière d’aveuglements parfois centenaires, voire millénaires. Il poursuit aujourd’hui son travail en se confrontant à la matière même du christianisme, en revenant au texte biblique, et en lui opposant les découvertes scientifiques qui ont bouleversé, patiemment mais profondément, les fondements les plus improbables de nos conceptions relatives à notre présence au monde. Il en résulte aujourd’hui un essai briseur d’idoles et d’icônes, qui réduit drastiquement les pouvoirs et assertions, parfois dévastateurs, de la foi.
