Este libro se hunde en los límites del pensamiento y de la pregunta sin respuesta: ¿Quién crea lo creado? Recorre, por lo tanto, caminos que se pierden ante la inexistencia de la respuesta. En el comienzo de la Creación está la letra, primera palabra, una Voz que crea en el decir. También la errancia. Del otro lado, la voz humana, que nomina y domina lo creado. La errancia es una experiencia narrativa y, al mismo tiempo, una forma de experimentar la mundanidad de la existencia: eso que llamamos vida. El final del Libro revelado es nuevamente letra y palabra, inhospitalidad de una narrativa que siempre nos está expulsando a la errancia. En cada última palabra nos inunda la incertidumbre de la pregunta sin respuesta. Y sin embargo, el final de la Torá también es el inicio de la relectura, de la repetición sin fin. Si existe eso que llamamos tiempo, entonces tenemos un pasado sobre el que construir la historia: es ahí donde nos queda la posibilidad de releernos. Hemos sido arrojados al desierto de la finitud, que es errancia, soledad y olvido. Sólo una filosofía que comprenda el fracaso de su tarea podrá preguntarse por Dios.

If "event" is a proper name we reserve for monumental changes, crises, transitions and ruptures that are by their very nature unnameable or unthinkable, then this volume is an attempt to set up an encounter between such eventhood as it comes to have a bearing on literary works and the work of reading literature.
