Avevo già in passato la passione di scrivere poesie, il poco tempo a mia disposizione non mi permetteva di dedicare ad esse tutto il tempo necessario. Guiglia editore pubblica i suoi racconti de Il vento e le memorie (2004), le liriche. E venne l'alba alfine (2000) e Il Giardino di Giò (2018). Il racconto Il castagno racconta vince il Disco d'Oro Auser e il premio narrativa concorso intern.le INGENIUM VOLAT, LIBER MANET. La poesia Perché ha menzione speciale al PREMIO INT.LE POESIA DELIA- BOVA M. Nel 2020 ha menzione di merito al Concorso Intern.le Poeti e Poesia con la lirica UN CANTO NEL SUD, inserita nell'Antologia “Luci Sparse” della casa editrice Pagine e vincitrice del quarto posto al concorso Interaz.le Maria Cumani Quasimodo di Aletti Editore, che nel 2021 gli dedica sette menzioni di merito e nel 2022 altre quattro menzioni di merito pubblicando le liriche nei libri dedicati.

Scrive poesie da quando aveva nove anni, per ritagliarsi un angolo di fantasia nella vita quotidiana. Ha partecipato a diversi concorsi. Aurora è il suo primo libro.

Antonio Oieni è nato a Mistretta (Me) il 25 marzo del 1968. Laureatosi in Scienze Naturali all’Università di Palermo il 16 luglio del 1992, ha avuto sempre la passione di comporre liriche dal 1984. L’amore per la natura, per i sentimenti e per i ricordi della sua fanciullezza sono la linea conduttrice delle sue odi. Ha partecipato a diversi concorsi di poesia: Concorso di poesia dialettale mistrettese, “Enzo Romano” nel 2014 con la poesia “I vuci ru core” (Le voci del cuore); si è qualificato al quarto posto nel concorso: “Una poesia per la vita”, con la lirica “ Il desiderio di una creatura”, organizzato dal Centro Italiano Femminile di Mistretta il 13 settembre del 1998; ha partecipato inoltre al concorso “Una poesia per la pace” , organizzato dal CIF di Mistretta, classificandosi al secondo posto con la poesia “ Sorsi di speranza” il 14 settembre del 1999 ed infine è stato menzionato con la poesia “È tempo” nel Premio Letterario il Federiciano nel 2014.
