Primero voy a explicar la fase histórica qué se llama "década ominosa" y sus detalles políticos. Después analizo Larra y su actidud política durante ese tiempo - especialmente sus intentos solicitar el ingreso al ejército de los Voluntarios Realistas en 1826 y 1827 - mediante las opiniones de autores diferentes. Para responder la pregunta si Larra era un autor liberal o un realista moderado es importante considerar sus artículos, por eso voy a dedicarme a cuatro artículos que fueron escritos durante los años 1832 y 1833 con los seudónimos Don Juan Pérez de Munguía y Andrés Niporesas.
