Nel consegnare alla stampa i diversi contributi in materia di procedura penale “riformata” un vero e proprio prologo neppure risultava necessario. Si è trattato, infatti, semplicemente di mettere nero su bianco e raccogliere gli interventi tenuti nel corso dell’ormai abituale appuntamento degli studenti dell’Università “Roma Tre” con il Seminario “Cultura della prova”, inaugurato dalle Cattedre di Diritto processuale penale oltre dieci anni fa, come cristallizzato nel primo dei Volumi che nel 2014 aveva inaugurato la nostra Collana intitolata “Processo penale e politica criminale”. Né più né meno. Eppure: al di là della naturale modestia nell’approccio alle tematiche qui sviluppate, dettato da esigenze prettamente didattiche, non rappresenta impresa insignificante quella rivolta a fornire agli studenti altrettante chiavi di lettura per orientarsi nel frastagliato panorama offerto dalla riforma introdotta con d.lgs. 10 ottobre 2022, n. 150, recante “Attuazione della legge 27 settembre 2021, n. 134, recante delega al Governo per l’efficienza del processo penale, nonché in materia di giustizia riparativa e disposizioni per la celere definizione dei procedimenti giudiziari”, più semplicemente noto come Riforma Cartabia dal nome dell’allora Ministro della Giustizia. La vocazione “efficientista” dell’intervento non era mai stata nascosta dagli stessi riformatori e viene ripercorsa da Giovanni Paolozzi nel saggio che funge da battistrada alla raccolta dei presenti scritti e si assume la responsabilità di tracciare una carrellata proemiale. Ha avuto la bontà di fare da “chioccia” alla nidiata di commenti articolatisi durante gli incontri seminariali, come del resto ha sempre fatto negli anni, con una pazienza dimostratasi infinita.
