Los anuncios de shock son una de las estrategias utilizadas para llamarla atención de los consumidores de una manera eficaz.La publicidad provocativa es capaz de impactar a los usuarios mediante el uso de estímulos capaces de romper las normas convencionales. El presente trabajo recoge de manera teórica una visión general sobre la publicidad y la eficiencia de esta,y también, se exponeel problema de la saturación publicitaria. Asimismo, se desarrolla en profundidad el concepto de la publicidad provocativa, los diferentes tipos de anuncios de shock que existen y la eficiencia de estaestrategia. Por otro lado, este proyecto se compone,además, de un estudio empírico que analiza el impacto de los anuncios de shock en los consumidores, además de conocer si el estímulo provocativo recibido influye en la predisposición de comentar el anuncio y, finalmente, como afecta esta estrategia en las decisiones de compra.
