Allo stesso modo, se non hai costantemente denaro circolante nella tua vita, c'è qualcosa di radicalmente sbagliato in te. Il denaro è solo un simbolo; ha assunto molte forme come mezzo di scambio attraverso i secoli, quali sale, perline e ciondoli di vario genere. Nell'antichità la ricchezza dell'uomo era determinata dal numero di pecore o buoi che possedeva. È molto più comodo scrivere un assegno che portare con sé alcune pecore per pagare le bollette. La Vita non vuole che tu viva in un tugurio o che abbia fame. La vita vuole che tu sia felice, prospero e pieno di successo.

A differenza delle scienze teoretiche che ricercano il sapere per se stesso e delle scienze poietiche che mirano alla produzione di oggetti utili o belli, la scienza che riguarda la prassi, ossia le azioni interumane, ricerca il sapere come guida per l’agire. Etica Nicomachea e Politica vanno quindi lette in questa prospettiva unitaria.
