Enfin nous démontrerons les mesures prises, les actions qui donnent de l'espoir et les raisons pour lesquelles la situation des habitants ne s'améliore pas. Quand un grand problème social apparaît en France, il est difficile de le traiter sans aborder aussi le sujet de la banlieue. La politique, les médias et les représentants de l'État se penchent sur ce sujet depuis plus de vingt ans. Les problèmes sont nombreux et de longue haleine, on n'arrive jamais à les résoudre du jour au lendemain, par une décision plus ou moins bien réfléchie. Peut-être c'est la raison pour laquelle ces problèmes ne disparaissent pas, bien qu'on ait tenté de nombreuses mesures. Il ne suffit pas de chercher à la surface, où on voit que les problèmes que les médias montrent. On doit les analyser plus profondément et éviter des généralisations. Pas chaque quartier sensible n'est une banlieue avec les mêmes conditions et difficultés de la vie, elles n'existent pas de difficultés spécifiques. De plus ce n'est pas un seul groupe ou une seule ethnie qui vivent dans les banlieues, ils sont diversifiés.
