LUIS ALBERTO DE CUENCA es Académico de la Real Academia de la Historia (desde 2010) y Profesor de Investigación del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (desde 1989). Ha sido Director de la Biblioteca Nacional (1996-2000) y Secretario de Estado de Cultura (2000-2004). En 1989 obtuvo el Premio Nacional de Traducción por su versión del anónimo Cantar de Valtario (siglo X), y en 2007 el Premio de Literatura de la Comunidad de Madrid. Es autor de libros de poesía como La caja de plata (Sevilla, Renacimiento, 1985, Premio de la Crítica 1986), La vida en llamas (Madrid, Visor, 2006, Premio Ciudad de Melilla) y El reino blanco (Madrid, Visor, 2010). Desde hace más de treinta años escribe en ABC.

Así se va desarrollando el drama de esta peripecia que los llevará de la mano por todo el viaje, disfrutando del paisaje, que es descrito de forma grata y conociendo a los personajes que se van sumando a esta aventura que usted se deleitará hasta el fi nal.
