Il volume analizza un corpus di venti grammatiche didattiche del tedesco per discenti stranieri (Deutsch als Fremdsprache), in relazione a fenomeni significativi riguardanti la flessione del tedesco. I case studies riguardano il genere dei sostantivi, le reggenze delle preposizioni primarie e secondarie, l’uso di diversi tempi verbali per l’espressione di futurità e passato, i modi verbali nel discorso indiretto, l’opposizione tra attivo e passivo, le alternative del passivo, la funzione attributiva del participio. La prospettiva di studio è semanto-pragmatica, vale a dire si prendono in considerazione le funzioni cognitivo-comunicative delle rispettive strutture nei vari contesti d’uso. Le grammatiche vengono valutate prioritariamente in termini di adeguatezza scientifica e didattica. Ci si concentra sui contenuti delle spiegazioni e delle regole fornite, ovvero su “cosa” viene insegnato, e non su “come” vengono presentate le informazioni al discente. Fanno da cornice ai case studies due capitoli iniziali sul ruolo della grammatica e delle grammatiche didattiche nell’insegnamento delle lingue straniere nonché un capitolo conclusivo sulla dimensione semanto-pragmatica delle categorie flessive nelle grammatiche didattiche DaF. Il volume è concepito come opera unitaria ma ogni suo capitolo può anche essere fruito autonomamente, qualità che conferisce all’opera un carattere di riferimento enciclopedico.

Considering the seismic behaviour of cultural heritage buildings, recent earthquakes have emphasised the high vulnerability of vaulted structures. In this regard, the present thesis deals with masonry cross vaults, among the most diffused and fascinating structural typologies of the European cultural heritage. After a thorough review of cross vault historical developments, the focus is shifted to the shaking table tests of a scaled arch. These two points provided valuable information to calibrate the finite element model of cross vault, discussed next. Finally, the influence of the main geometrical and mechanical parameters on the seismic capacity of cross vaults are examined by means of a sensitivity analysis.

The topic of proactivity of brain functions has become of growing interest in the cognitive neuroscience. Brain activity is no longer described solely in a reactive way, but also as preparatory and predictive of future events. This volume focuses especially on the neurocognitive activities associated with anticipatory processes of perceptual decision-making. What does the brain do to prevent mistakes? Is it possible to prevent speed and accuracy of a decision even before it is made? Why do some people perform better or worse than others? The volume answers these and other questions through the description of some original research. In particular, electroencephalographic investigations are illustrated which allowed to define a first version of the model known as “preparation-perception-action cycle”. Present findings reveal theoretical and practical implications which constitute a useful reference for researchers and scholars interested in discovering the aware and unaware ways in which our brain anticipates the future.

Neuropathic pain is a common problem in clinical practice, which affects patients quality of life. The more recent approach to this peculiar type of pain is based on the “sensory profiles theory”. According to this theory, neuropathic pain manifests with different combinations of sensory abnormalities, which in turn arise through different pathophysiological mechanisms. Convincing evidence now suggests that the classification of neuropathic pain according to a mechanism-based approach rather than etiology could help in targeting the therapy for the individual patient and would be useful for testing new drugs. My work has therefore focused on disclosing the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying neuropathic pain and how they translate into symptoms.

Questo lavoro affronta il tema del contributo e delle potenzialità che i sistemi multi-agente, come strumento di simulazione dei processi sociali, possono offrire alla ricerca sociologica nel campo della mobilità sociale. Dopo una ricognizione degli studi in materia, vengono presentati e argomentati i presupposti di una analisi del fenomeno in base all’ipotesi che esso costituisca un effetto dimensionale di tipo macro, generato dalla composizione dinamica di scelte di azione compiute da attori sociali individuali che si muovono in un ambito di reciproca interdipendenza in base a una varietà di condizioni e vincoli delle loro scelte. Tale sezione approda alla modellizzazione dell’ipotetico percorso individuale di ricerca occupazionale attraverso versioni a complessità causale crescente del modello stesso, ottenute simulandone gli esiti dovuti all’effetto compositivo del grado di istruzione, dell’origine sociale, del livello di aspirazione, delle opportunità, lungo l’asse relazionale dei soggetti agenti. I principali risultati del lavoro simulativo fanno riferimento in particolare a due importanti evidenze: a) la centralità delle reti sociali come risorse di capitale sociale per i percorsi di mobilità; b) la relativa, certo indesiderata, prospettiva di anelasticità della disuguaglianza sociale all’equità e al successo individuale dei percorsi formativi.

Scrittore eclettico e originale, autore di radio e in misura minore di cinema, Georges Perec partecipa nel 1967 a un convegno a Venezia dedicato ai “mass media” e si chiede se la scrittura letteraria possa trarre ispirazione dai nuovi linguaggi. Applicando lo stesso criterio all’analisi della sua produzione, emerge una costante messa in tensione di elementi distanti o antitetici dell’esperienza della contemporaneità, un approccio che infrange le visioni date e offre nuove chiavi di lettura. In forma romanzesca, saggistica, o esterna a ogni definizione di genere, Perec esercita la pratica dell’attraversamento, tra intrattenimento e prospettiva critica, finzione e documento, evento e quotidiano, immersione e distanza. A fianco dell’incessante ricerca della traccia, della scrittura come lascito, affiora il senso d’inadeguatezza di un ordine immobile e rigido e una fascinazione per l’effimero, per la vita come processo. La stabilità della parola scritta si ibrida con il flusso dei media audiovisivi. Senza mai fornire soluzioni univoche, per partito preso, l’opera di Perec non cessa di esercitare la sua influenza su intellettuali e artisti e di trasmettere ai lettori la passione per l’esistente, il desiderio di comprendere il mondo che abitiamo.

La presente ricerca ha come obiettivo l’esplorazione dei servizi accessibili per i non vedenti e ipovedenti nei musei, attraverso l’utilizzo di strumenti costruiti ad hoc. La tesi si suddivide in due parti: la prima ha un assetto teorico; la seconda presenta la metodologia applicata e i risultati ottenuti nella ricerca attraverso lo studio di “casi multiplo”. Per ogni museo è stata elaborata una scheda descrittiva e sono stati utilizzati i seguenti strumenti di indagine: intervista per i responsabili, scheda di osservazione con diario in diretta per le visite e questionario di gradimento per gli utenti. Grazie al Manifesto della cultura accessibile a tutti sono stati definiti cinque “indicatori” per rilevare l’accessibilità culturale nei musei. Lo studio desidera contribuire alla definizione di linee guida comuni per la progettazione dei servizi educativi e può rappresentare un punto di partenza per educatori, formatori, volontari o altri operatori, interessati ad approfondire la tematica dell’educazione estetica ed artistica per non vedenti e ipovedenti.
