Public law, which examines relations between governments and institutions and individuals, has, in recent years, become deeply disturbed by an erosion of the rule of law, notably in some of the world’s most professedly democratic nations. The "Israeli History, Politics and Society" series comprises multidisciplinary studies that range from elections and the Yom Kippur war to the search for a true Israeli identity and the various initiatives to foment or prevent the peace process. This volume brings together a set of articles that try to estimate the direction of developments in Israeli public administration: whether ministries will remain under the ambit of the Weberian model, follow the New Public Management model, or move towards a mix of the two. Ces consultations ont été menées à la fois en présentiel et en ligne, par le biais notamment d'événements participatifs thématiques et la mise à disposition d’une « boîte à outils » pour faciliter l’organisation d’atelier-relais autour des thématiques suivantes : se protéger des contenus illicites tout en préservant la liberté d’expression ; questionner les limites des règles de concurrence traditionnelles face aux grandes entreprises numériques ; faire évoluer les instances publiques de régulation face à tous ces enjeux ; adapter notre modèle social aux travailleurs des plateformes ; inciter au partage des données qui présentent un intérêt collectif ; et enfin se prémunir de la surexposition aux écrans notamment des plus jeunes.
