Le Septième Jour de la création, une actualité sans fin. Voici prononcé la formulation de ce texte. Cette formulation fait suite à un ensemble de confusions théologiques observables aujourd’hui, autour de la création, de la question du repos de Dieu, de la responsabilité humaine, dans une histoire faite à la fois de prouesses et de profondes dérives. Dans la problématique du repos de Dieu, j’envisage bien un Dieu toujours en repos, et qui nous donne encore la possibilité justement d’entrer dans ce repos (Epître aux Hébreux). Je parle bien sûr de ce Dieu dont l’action solitaire reste manifeste jusqu’au sixième jour avant la création de l’homme. Je parle de ce Dieu qui, curieusement, se libère de sa solitude tellement ‘‘solipsisante’’, pour s’accorder réellement une possibilité de distinction de lui à lui-même, en la Personne de Jésus-Christ, le Dieu Amour, dont l’action créatrice commence clairement à se manifester avec le projet de création de l’homme (faisons enfin l’homme à notre image, selon notre ressemblance). Je vois donc en un mot, un Septième Jour non bouclé. Un Jour ouvert depuis Adam, et qui s’étendra jusqu’à la révélation de l’Apocalypse de Jean.
