I give children a chance to make small wins and boost their confidence as we try and build a hunger for more guitar and music knowledge." -RR My son, now 6 years old, asked me to teach him guitar. I had written him some lessons for when he is older, but I really wanted to trim them down and focus on what a 5 - 9 year old could learn at home. We currently do not live in the same state, so once I get him going, he will have to get help from non-guitar players at his home. I wrote these lessons with that in mind. I hope this helps parents decide if their child is ready to learn guitar. If not, I give instructions on tuning so that your child can have fun for now and come back to learning at a later time.
