Dance Me & Lend Me Your Ear is a fictional novel with the strains of the grotesque and surrealism in its interlace. Escorted by the romanticism view on human behavior, a fabric of the novel reflects the social patterns of the postmodern society. Principles of what are bad and what is good, taken from the studies on human societies and natural sciences, offer custom to follow unless the conflict of interest occurs. As it seems to surrealism portion, aim was to help those, who were chosen as witnesses of Sasha's and her surrounding lives to recognize if their own thought and actions were rightness. Recalling the perceptions from the past, the witnesses, invited in Gala event to celebrate Sasha's life, were encouraged to explicit their visions on situations free from conscious rational control. Unconscious thoughts may develop more accurate picture of why incongruous actions took place through the seasons of life. Consequently, the light humoristic and heavy satiric depictions of human social interactions provide a reader of any age from pre-teen to late adults with a chance to become fan and to determine if they like or dislike a picky hero in his current status. Most of the characters, presented in the Dance Me & Lend Me Your Ear, may be recognized as active players in the same author novel Dance me When the Witnesses are Gone. Despite that some episodes and the novel itself will be mentioned during the event's discussions, approaches and purposes of both these novels are different. While Dance me When the Witnesses are Gone describes one family as a masterpiece in retro perspective of its seasons, the Dance Me & Lend Me Your Ear describes the same family and the witnesses of its life with the shift to the grotesque. All characters are fictional but may be easily recognized in any society as well as in an individual surrounding. The major character of both novels, Sasha, has been chosen on this role for her extra ordinary ability to have deal with the life circumstances from the childhood to the late stage of her life. Please do not worry, she is still alive and doing well. In this subsequent novel, nominated witnesses will play the roles of fans, armed with information from the first novel and other sharable and hidden contexts, existed in their memories and interpreted according to their abilities. Thus friends and family members will be provided with once in a life time opportunity to knock-out about Sasha, their own, and each other lives. Those attendees, who have survived after storms within a variety of seasons, will be gathered in the virtual kitchen to participate in celebration while sweltering. Nearly all witnesses said that they are ready to put their pin-up on the warm seats and to take them on the chat for the evening with a good-nature ribbing. Those, who will attempt to make damage to the reputation of anyone, have a chance to be eliminated from the participation. This warning should be taken as a caution especially by two gentlemen-friends (Tom and David), who may provide bias information regarding each other. Suffice to say, they both should be warned ahead to substitute the terrible pamphlets they have prepared by the innocent comedic tales. Please take no offense! Do not take anything personal! So please take a seat in the front row to watch the most remarkable episodes of Sasha's and her surrounding lives in both Eastern and Western worlds. The awe-inspiring information presented by witnesses includes a conglomerate of Sasha's and those who close to her heart adventures, accompanied by the descriptions of the dynamic interactions among members. If you did not read the first novel yet, please do not worry; you will not miss any gossip, story, or scandal. Once again, because similar situations and interactions may take place in other families, communities, and even societies, please do compare characters and situations. Everything comes in circles. It's all been done before, and will be again.

Although fictional characters have long dominated the reception of literature, films, television programs, comics, and other media products, only recently have they begun to attract their due attention in literary and media theory. The book systematically surveys today ́s diverse and at times conflicting theoretical perspectives on fictional character, spanning research on topics such as the differences between fictional characters and real persons, the ontological status of characters, the strategies of their representation and characterization, the psychology of their reception, as well as their specific forms and constellations in - and across - different media, from the book to the internet.

The Feminist Challenge To The Socialist State In Yugoslavia written by Zsófia Lóránd and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-09-27 with History categories.

This book tells the story of new Yugoslav feminism in the 1970s and 1980s, reassessing the effects of state socialism on women’s emancipation through the lens of the feminist critique. This volume explores the history of the ideas defining a social movement, analysing the major debates and arguments this milieu engaged in from the perspective of the history of political thought, intellectual history and cultural history. Twenty-five years after the end of the Cold War, societies in and scholars of East Central Europe still struggle to sort out the effects of state socialism on gender relations in the region. What could tell us more about the subject than the ideas set out by the only organised and explicitly feminist opposition in the region, who, as academics, artists, writers and activists, criticised the regime and demanded change?

The room darkens and grows hushed, all eyes to the front as the screen comes to life. Eagerly the audience starts to thumb the pages of their handouts, following along breathlessly as the slides go by one after the other...We're not sure what the expected outcome was when PowerPoint first emerged as the industry standard model of presentation, but reality has shown few positive results. Research reveals that there is much about this format that audiences positively dislike, and that the old school rules of classical rhetoric are still as effective as they ever were for maximizing impact. Renowned communications researcher, consultant, and speech coach Max Atkinson presents these findings and more in a groundbreaking and refreshing approach that highlights the secrets of successful communication, and shows how anyone can put these into practice and become an effective speaker or presenter.

Sticking to it: that's the request of this book. A relationship does not end when a crisis arises. On the contrary: each couple has all the qualities within them to live and love happily and passionately. Still, many separate or live side by side in frustration. In this book, Sabine and Roland Bösel present their longstanding experience as Imago therapists. They show a path along which each couple has the chance to develop: the conscious, attentive, esteeming communication facilitating mutual understanding, besides getting to know each other more intensely. Being not only couples therapists, but also a couple, the authors present many stimuli with regard to forming a relationship and developing the durability thereof. What makes a relationship is comprehensively presented, based on extensive knowledge, with examples, exercises and tips. On top of that, they refer to their own rollercoaster-ride in their relationship – affairs – separations – including sexual frustrations. A book taken from life – for love.
