Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: sehr gut, Hochschule Hannover (Sozialpädagogik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Einleitung Innerhalb meines Studiums der Sozialarbeit/Sozialpädagogik an der Evangelischen Fachhochschule Hannover hatte ich in den letzten Jahren immer wieder mit dem Arbeitsfeld Schulsozialarbeit zu tun. So arbeitete ich zum einen im gleichnamigen Projekt, beschäftigte mich zum anderen in vielen Seminaren und Vorlesungen mit Themen, die sich direkt auf die Schule bezogen. Vor allem dem Thema Gewalt in Schulen widmete ich immer wieder einen Großteil meiner Studienzeit. Es stellte sich mir die Frage, was denn der Schule von heute eigentlich fehlt, inwieweit sie selbst beteiligt ist an den enormen Schwierigkeiten, die sich für die Kinder und Jugendlichen von heute immer massiver zeigen. Die Ergebnisse der PISA-Studie sowie Ereignisse massiver Gewalt von Schülern/innen gegen sich selbst und andere Personen (z.B. in Erfurt), zeichnen eine prekäre Lage ab, für die nicht nur die Außenwelt der Schule (strukturelle Bedingungen usw.) verantwortlich sein kann. Vielmehr weist alles darauf hin, dass ebenso die Struktur und das Klima einer Schule selbst ihre Probleme hervorrufen. Eine Entwicklung von Lernkultur und Sozialklima wäre somit dringend erforderlich. Dieser Vermutung werde ich in dieser Arbeit auf den Grund gehen. Darüber hinaus erörtere ich die daraus folgenden Aufgaben und Herausforderungen für die Schulsozialarbeit. In Kapitel zwei beschreibe ich die heutige Situation von Schule. Zum einen gehe ich auf die Lebenswelt der Kinder und Jugendlichen ein, zum anderen beschreibe ich die Schule und ihre Defizite. Wo liegen die Aufgaben von Schule und an welchen stellen wird sie den Anforderungen, vor allem den Wünschen und Nöten ihrer Schüler/innen, nicht gerecht? Kapitel drei geht sowohl auf die konventionelle, als auch auf die wünschenswerte Lernkultur von Schule ein – was macht sie aus, was steht ihr im Wege? Diese Fragen sollen beantwortet und nötige Veränderungen vorgeschlagen werden. Ähnlich verfahre ich in Kapitel vier zum Thema Sozialklima. Sowohl ihre Relevanz für die Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen soll hier erläutert, als auch Vorschläge für ihre Entwicklung erbracht werden. Das fünfte Kapitel beschreibt zunächst die Entwicklung, sowie die Aufgaben und Ziele von Schulsozialarbeit. Es wird erarbeitet, inwieweit die Entwicklung von Lernkultur und Sozialklima auch zu den Aufgaben von Schulsozialarbeit gehört...
