Bildung soll den Lernenden befähigen, mit den Anforderungen der Wissensgesellschaft umzugehen und die Voraussetzung für lebenslanges Lernen zu schaffen. In unserer heutigen Gesellschaft müssen Menschen ihr Wissen und ihre Fähigkeiten ständig auf dem aktuellen Stand halten, um in dem sich rasch ändernden beruflichen Umfeld bestehen zu können. Die Fähigkeit zum selbstregulierten Lernen ist dabei von entscheidender Bedeutung. Die Schule erfüllt ihre Aufgabe als bedeutender Vermittler dieser Kompetenz jedoch nur teilweise, weshalb in der Konsequenz daraus auch Studierende entsprechende Defizite aufweisen In engem Zusammenhang mit der Selbstregulation des Lernens steht auch das Wissen über und der Einsatz von Lernstrategien. Um neues Wissen aufnehmen und erfolgreich selbstreguliert lernen zu können, ist daher ein Repertoire an Lernstrategien notwendig, das auch adäquat eingesetzt werden kann. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Fokus auf die Untersuchung von Lernstrategien während des Fernstudiums - also im Rahmen des selbstregulierten Lernens - gelegt, um einen Beitrag zur Förderung, Entwicklung und Vermittlung von Selbstregulationskompetenzen der Studierenden zu leisten und dadurch die notwendige Voraussetzung für lebenslanges Lernen zu schaffen. Zu diesem Zweck wird eine Umfrage zur Erhebung von Lernstrategien in Hinblick auf Muster selbstregulierten Lernens im Fernstudium untersucht.

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Medienpädagogik, Note: 1,0, FernUniversität Hagen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: ZUSAMMENFASSUNG/ ABSTRACT Ziel dieser Arbeit war die Erstellung eines Kategorisierungs-schemas, um darauf aufbauend mittels einer Clusteranalyse Muster strategischen Lernens und die Nutzung neuer Medien zu explorieren. In diesem Rahmen wurde der Fokus der durchgeführten Analysen auf den Bereich Lernstrategien gelegt. Die Angaben von 128 Fern- studenten im 3. bis 4. Fachsemester des Fachbereichs Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften flossen in die Auswertung mit ein. Die Entwicklung des Kategorisierungsschemas erfolgte mit Hilfe der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring (2003). Die Kategorisierung orientierte sich an den Skalen des MSLQ von Pintrich et al. (1988), des LIST von Wild und Schiefele (1994), des Willenstest nach Deimann, Weber & Baestiaens (2009) sowie der PISA-Studie 2003 (OECD, 2004). Die auf dem Kategorisierungsschema aufbauende Clusteranalyse teilte die Studierenden in 4 Gruppen, die sich deutlich im Einsatz von ressourcenbezogenen Lernstrategien und Motivations- und Voltitionsstrategien unterschieden. Ferner wurde deutlich, dass es Strategien wie Selbst- und Zeitmanagement sind, die in Hinblick auf Selbststeuerungskompetenzen im Fernstudium vermittelt und gefördert werden sollten. Gleiches gilt für metakognitive Lernstrategien und Elaborationsstrategien die von erheblicher Bedeutung für den Aufbau eines kompetenten eigenen Wissensmanagements sind. Es konnte auch gezeigt werden, dass die Potenziale von e-learning noch lange nicht voll ausgeschöpft, sondern teilweise nur manchmal bis selten genutzt werden.

This book deals with contemporary epistemological questions, connecting Educational Philosophy with the field of Science- and Technology Studies. It can be understood as a draft of a general theory of world-disclosure, which is in its core a distinction between two forms of world-disclosure: experiment and exploration. These two forms have never been clearly distinguished before. The focus lies on the experimental form of world-disclosure, which is described in detail and in contrast to the explorational form along the line of twenty-one characteristics, which are mainly derived from empirical studies of experimental work in the field of natural sciences. It can also be understood as an attempt to integrate elements of the Anglo-Saxon Philosophy of Science with elements of the German tradition of Educational Philosophy. This is also reflected in the style of writing. In accordance to the content-level of the book, the argument for experimental forms of world-disclosure is written in an essayistic, readable style, which can be understood as an experimental form of writing. This book is a translation of the doctoral thesis 'Experiment und Exploration. Bildung als experimentelle Form der Welterschließung' (summa cum laude). The thesis was published in German in 2010 by Transcript (Bielefeld) in the series called 'Theorie Bilden', edited by Prof. Dr. Hannelore Faulstich-Wieland, Prof. Dr. Hans-Christoph Koller, Prof. Dr. Karl-Josef Pazzini and Prof. Dr. Michael Wimmer.
