This book is written in the form of a number of letters to an imaginary woman who, as a young girl, was molested by her grandfather. She lives in a small town and has no access to a suitable therapist. She and her therapist (the author) agree to undertake therapy by correspondence. In the last ten letters the sexual healing is discussed. Joy Comes in the Morning introduces the reader to a specific technique developed with great success by the author over a number of years. The book is thus also aimed at therapists who wish to develop their skills in this field.
