The Big Bang And Other Explosions In Nuclear And Particle Astrophysics written by David N. Schramm and has been published by World Scientific this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1996 with Science categories.

This volume of important papers by one the world's leading astrophysicists provides a sweeping survey of the incisive and exciting applications of nuclear and particle physics to a wide range of problems in astrophysics and cosmology. The prime focus of the book is on Big Bang cosmology and the role of primordial nucleosynthesis in establishing the modern consensus on the Big Bang. This leads into the connection of cosmology to particle physics and the constraints put on various elementary particles by astrophysical arguments. Big Bang Nucleosynthesis has also led to the argument for nonbaryonic dark matter and is thus related to the major problem in physical cosmology today, namely, structure formation. The nuclear-particle interface with astrophysics also extends to the other topics of major interest such as the age of the universe, cosmic rays, supernovae, and solar neutrinos, each of which will be discussed in some detail. Each section contains historical papers, current papers, and frequently a popular article on the subject which provides an overview of the topic. This volume is testimony to the success of the integration of nuclear and particle physics with astrophysics and cosmology, and to the ingenuity of the work in this area which has earned the author numerous prestigious awards. The book, which is accessible to beginning graduate students, should be of particular interest to researchers and students in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology and gravitation, and also in high energy and nuclear physics.

A New Paradigm For The Universe written by Colin Rourke and has been published by Colin Rourke this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on with Science categories.

This book provides a completely new approach to understanding the universe. The main idea is that the principal objects in the universe form a spectrum unified by the presence of a massive or hypermassive black hole. These objects are variously called quasars, active galaxies and spiral galaxies. The key to understanding their dynamicsis angular momentum and the key tool, and main innovative idea of this work, is a proper formulation of "Mach's principle" using Sciama's ideas. The new approach provides an explanation for the observed dynamics of spiral galaxies without needing so called "dark matter" and gives a framework that fits the observations of Arp and others that show that quasars typically exhibit instrinsic redshift. These fantastic observations have no place in current mainstream cosmology and, to the lasting shame and discredit of the cosmological community, Arp himself was hounded out and denied observation time on the big telescopes.

IAU Symposium 268 presents an overview of the most recent observational and theoretical research on the formation and evolution of light elements in the Universe: H, He, Li, Be, B, and their isotopes. Astrophysicists from a variety of subfields discuss recent developments that will improve our understanding of the light elements and provide important clues to stellar and galactic evolution, Big Bang nucleosynthesis, and cosmology. Striking observational progress has been achieved recently through the advent of next generation ground- and space-based telescopes, such as the cosmic microwave background experiments that allow the accurate determination of the baryon density of the Universe. New theoretical breakthroughs in describing stellar interiors and the chemical evolution of complex systems and the remaining challenges in this field are also addressed. This critical review is a useful resource for all those interested in the chemical evolution of the Universe.

A Conceptual Breakthrough in Our Understanding of Fundamental Nature of Matter and Energy!! A lot of questions have bothered science for a long time! What is a photon? Why does light behave both like a particle and a wave? How does light transform into matter? What is gravity? What is Big Bang and what came before it? The list is endless ... Riding on a Ray of Light describes a working model, called the Negentropic Model, which describes the fundamental nature of matter and energy. The negentropic model, formulated as a single theoretical principle based on the current scientific concepts, describes the precise structure of photon along with an explicit mechanism of generation of a light. It also describes the precise nature of matter and its formation in nature along with the intriguing nature of gravity. Alongside, this model explains the underlying meaning of some of the weirdest quantum phenomena such as wave-particle duality. In addition, by proposing the concept of ‘dark protons’, negentropic model allows us to delineate the precise nature of dark matter and dark energy, and this knowledge lets us peep into the depths of black holes to understand their true nature. Basing on these findings, the concept of Big Bang is revised and a brand-new concept of Differential Big Bang proposed! Riding on a Ray of Light presents the most comprehensive model in fundamental physics proposed so for, answering many of the hitherto unanswered questions in particle physics and cosmology, which really helps us to work towards a Theory of Everything !

An Introduction To Modern Cosmology written by Andrew Liddle and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-05-29 with Science categories.

An Introduction to Modern Cosmology Third Edition is an accessible account of modern cosmological ideas. The Big Bang Cosmology is explored, looking at its observational successes in explaining the expansion of the Universe, the existence and properties of the cosmic microwave background, and the origin of light elements in the universe. Properties of the very early Universe are also covered, including the motivation for a rapid period of expansion known as cosmological inflation. The third edition brings this established undergraduate textbook up-to-date with the rapidly evolving observational situation. This fully revised edition of a bestseller takes an approach which is grounded in physics with a logical flow of chapters leading the reader from basic ideas of the expansion described by the Friedman equations to some of the more advanced ideas about the early universe. It also incorporates up-to-date results from the Planck mission, which imaged the anisotropies of the Cosmic Microwave Background radiation over the whole sky. The Advanced Topic sections present subjects with more detailed mathematical approaches to give greater depth to discussions. Student problems with hints for solving them and numerical answers are embedded in the chapters to facilitate the reader’s understanding and learning. Cosmology is now part of the core in many degree programs. This current, clear and concise introductory text is relevant to a wide range of astronomy programs worldwide and is essential reading for undergraduates and Masters students, as well as anyone starting research in cosmology.
