Seminar paper from the year 2015 in the subject Romance Studies - Italian and Sardinian Studies, grade: 1, University of Bonn (Romanistik), language: Italian, abstract: Dopo aver definito l’espressione "lingue speciali" e averne illustrato le caratteristiche principali, in questo lavoro verranno analizzati i vari aspetti del politichese, con uno sguardo generale sul linguaggio politico dall’epoca fascista all’ascesa di Berlusconi fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri, soffermandosi sul linguaggio usato da Matteo Renzi nei suoi discorsi politici. Ne saranno analizzati in particolare alcuni aspetti, come l’utilizzo di un registro basso e popolare, la frequenza di anglicismi e giovanilismi, le metafore estratte dal mondo Scout e il linguaggio utilizzato su Internet. Successivamente questi elementi verranno confrontati con il politichese della prima e della seconda Repubblica per metterne in luce le eventuali somiglianze e differenze. Si concluderà infine cercando di stabilire se, alla luce di queste ricerche, sia ancora possibile parlare di politichese o se il nuovo modo di fare politica porti inevitabilmente al cambiamento del registro linguistico.

Media and politics have always been mutually influential. The media plays an important political role of its own in promoting and discussing policies, as well as conveying representations of power and ideology.
