Social network analysis (SNA) is a technique that is used to determine knowledge flows and gaps in mapping social networks for various knowledge types. Social Networking: The Essence of Innovation discusses how social networking and SNA can influence innovation in an organization through the presentation of a broad range of concepts, examples, and case studies. The book's initial chapters deal with developing personal knowledge networks, linking social networking to innovation and strategic intelligence, and exploring synergies among knowledge management, business intelligence, and competitive intelligence. The introduction, an overview of social network analysis, is followed by case studies and an exploration of applications, including knowledge mapping and the analysis of organizations. The Complex Of Friendship written by Fredia Pullins and has been published by Independently Published this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-05-15 with categories.

Friendship is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other, for the other's sake, and that involves some degree of intimacy. As such, friendship is undoubtedly central to our lives, in part because the special concern we have for our friends must have a place within a broader set of concerns, including moral concerns, and in part, because our friends can help shape who we are as persons. Reflections on the nature of friendship are a rich, nuanced journey that delves deep into the fascinating and complex world of friendship. They examine what makes friendships work, thrive, and connect people with one another. This book will bring a deeper understanding of building stronger, healthier, and sustainable friendships.

Gb84 written by David Peace and has been published by Faber & Faber this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-02-03 with Fiction categories.

Stylish, riveting and appalling, GB84 is a shocking fictional documentation of the violence, sleaze and fraudulence that characterised Thatcher's Britain. Great Britain. 1984. The miners' strike. It is the closest Britain has come to civil war in fifty years, setting the government against the people. In his trademark visceral prose, Peace describes the insidious workings of the boardroom negotiations and the increasingly anarchic coalfield battles; the struggle for influence in government and the dwindling powers of the NUM; and the corruption, intrigue and dirty tricks which run through the whole like a fault in a seam of coal. David Peace has written a novel extraordinary in its reach, and unflinching in its capacity to recreate the brutality and passion that changed the course of British history in the late twentieth century. 'A genuine British original.' Guardian 'Peace is a writer of such immense talent and power . . . If Northern noir is the crime fashion of the moment, Peace is its most brilliant designer.' Relationships are the glue that holds the world together. As the author shows, this common belief applies to ancient Greece as much as to contemporary Aotearoa New Zealand. Based on long-term ethnographic fieldwork, this anthropological study dedicates itself to the topic of friendship - this flexible type of sociality that has become increasingly significant in people's lives throughout the world. At the core stand the friendship conceptions and life-worlds of M'ori (the indigenous population) and Pakeha (the descendants of the predominately European settler population) actors in New Zealand. By tracing out people's "friendship worlds" in their wider societal context, the author takes up current debates surrounding issues of identity and sociality, indigeneity and diversity. By furthering our understanding of the social dynamics of friendship in New Zealand, the study not only contributes to the growing field of friendship research, it also reveals important implications for the understanding of group relations in a postcolonial, so-called "multicultural" society.
