ALFREDO BULLARD GONZÁLEZ es abogado por la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú y magíster por la Universidad de Yale. Becario de la Comisión Fullbright. Cursó Estudios Introductorios de Economía, en el Economic Institute (Boulder, Colorado, EE. UU.) Se desempeña como catedrático, entre otros cursos, de Análisis Económico del Derecho y Derecho de la Competencia en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú y en la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Es además profesor visitante en la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, de Buenos Aires y de la Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios de El Salvador.

Ejercicio en las áreas de Derecho de la Competencia, Regulación Económica, Protección al Consumidor, Propiedad, Responsabilidad Civil Extracontractual, Contratos, Comercio Internacional y Arbitraje. Ha presidido la Comisión Técnica que elaboró la Ley de Arbitraje del Perú, además de presidir el Tribunal del Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual – INDECOPI, entre otros cargos directivos. Fue presidente por tres periodos del Consejo Directivo de la Asociación Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Derecho y Economía – ALACDE.

It provides a complete description and analysis of the historical and contemporary structure of arbitration law and practice in the country, which is based on the UNCITRAL Model Law.
