El material sobre las concepciones, moral y usos de los populares en Alemania se encuentra en el libro de Adolf Hitler Mi lucha, en los relatos de quienes se escaparon de los campos de concentración y especialmente en las notificaciones oficiales de la Gaceta del Reich del año 1933.
