Surge por la preocupación del autor al reflexionar acerca del comportamiento axiológico y en especial de los valores libertad e igualdad en contraposición al pensamiento autoritario asumido por un grupo cada vez mayor de educadores en el nivel universitario; con el propósito que sirva de herramienta para desarrollar y promover el estudio, reflexión y discusión de valores que nos permitan ser libres y construir nuestro futuro cimentado en ideas pedagógicas ácratas. Un estudio de su transcendencia y conceptualización según los autores más importantes (M .Bakunin, I .Illich, A. Cappelletti, N. Chomsky) y abordar algunas experiencias internacionales en este campo (Summerhill, Reino Unido y Paideia, España).Y fundamentalmente en el contexto venezolano. Buscando comprender y difundir las ideas ácratas: su expresión en la educación intentando transformar el funcionamiento de esta y su entorno. Con un enfoque anarquista epistemológico opuesto a todo tipo de restricción de la libertad investigativa oponiéndose al conocimiento científico y metodológico, interpretando pautas de socialización dando fuerza a valores fundamentados en la pedagogía ácrata. Se realizaron una serie de entrevistas y conversaciones con los actores involucrados, una revisión bibliográfica y un arduo seguimiento a páginas web, experiencias nacionales e internacionales de docentes que trabajan con el tema. Los resultados demuestran el conocimiento que los entrevistados poseen en relación con el tema dando mayor soporte epistemológico, por otra parte descubre la ignorancia que los ciudadanos tienen acerca de las ideas anarquistas y de su existencia en nuestro país. Plantea como conclusión la necesidad que no basta con impartir conocimiento formal si no valores que surjan de la propia persona y su contexto histórico motivados por idearios libertarios sin que sean impuestos como línea curricular del Estado o por políticas educativas que buscan uniformizar el concepto de educación. Students were active in the anti-slavery movement; they rebelled against military service in the Civil War; they staged demonstrations during the Depression; and they were vocal during the 1960s. Based on twenty case studies of universities worldwide, and on a survey administered to leaders in 101 universities, this open access book shows that, amidst the significant challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, universities found ways to engage with schools to support them in sustaining educational opportunity. In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach
