En este trabajo se pretendió conocer el significado psicológico de los conceptos de Muerte y Sentido de Vida en diferentes edades. Para lograr tal objetivo, se formaron 9 grupos compuestos por 30 sujetos cada uno. Las edades escogidas para organizar los grupos fueron:10, 12, 16, 18, 23, 35, 45, 55 y 65 años. Para realizar la investigación, se utilizó la Técnica de las Redes Semánticas Naturales por ser un instrumento tentativo para la medición del significado. En base a los resultados obtenidos se comprobó que, las personas mayores emplearon más palabras para definir los conceptos de Muerte (x2=46.856) y Sentido de Vida (x2=28.081). Sin embargo, en cuanto a la semejanza de la organización, la mayor semejanza de la organización y contenido de la información se mostró entre los grupos de 35 y el de 55 años (51%, muerte), y el de 35 años con 12 años (65%, sentido de vida). En cuanto a las principales definidoras se encontró que tristeza (PS general. 773) definió en general Muerte, y amor (PS general. 1093) el concepto Sentido de Vida. Se puede concluir que las personas mayores generan más palabras, posiblemente por tener una mayor información y comprensión de ambos conceptos y, posiblemente esta sea la razón por la que no existió una semejanza de información entre los grupos de 45, 55 y 65 años.
