The book offers a cross-disciplinary perspective on various aspects of precariousness in contemporary culture and society, concentrating on the topographical aspects of sources and causes of uncertainty and anxiety. Precariousness and precarity are themselves provisional and uncertain categories, though ones inviting to rethinking the scopes of precarity and precariousness from the perspective of locality and of places involved in their otherwise global range. The recent years have shown some ways in which precarity has changed its status and has become a strongly debated area not only in economic and political disputes, but also in philosophical debates and various fields of research related to cultural studies. The articles included in the volume address the spatial scope of anxieties and uncertainties involving numerous men and women affected by the several decades of the neoliberal insistence on various kinds of flexibility which, in turn, has put in motion numerous new mechanisms of exclusion and marginalization. O fundamento que norteia a perícia psicológica está correlacionado a formas jurídicas advindas do jogo processual, da produção de provas e das noções de verdade e conflito forjadas no Judiciário. Adentrar esse campo com os saberes da Psicologia continua sendo um desafio no encontro com os modos de operar do Direito, pois comparecem ações de judicialização da vida, regime de condutas, julgamento, criminalização e punição. Esse livro traz relatos de uma pesquisa que aponta caminhos para as famílias em situação de disputa de guarda, corroborando para que pais e mães sejam protagonistas de seus processos de vida e construam redes de solidariedade que permitam maior autonomia, não transferindo necessariamente para a instância jurídica a decisão acerca da lide que vivenciam. A pesquisa trouxe como possibilidade a criação de espaços coletivos no Judiciário, por meio da experimentação de dispositivos grupais: oficinas de parentalidade e rodas de conversa. A conversa surge como metodologia de pesquisa-trabalho por meio de encontros com pais e mães que estão em processo de guarda no Juizado de Família, de modo que a criação de uma rede comunicacional seja a porta de entrada e saída para demandas que estavam perpassadas apenas por ações individualizantes. Através de um grupelho heterogêneo e plural, por lateralidade e movimentos cogestivos, houve compartilhamento de experiências e a análise de questões pertinentes para os participantes, ampliando também demandas coletivas e sociais.

This book explores the contributions of psychological, neuroscientific and philosophical perspectives to the design of contemporary cities. Pursuing an innovative and multidisciplinary approach, it addresses the need to re-launch knowledge and creativity as major cultural and institutional bases of human communities. Dwelling is a form of knowledge and re-invention of reality that involves both the tangible dimension of physical places and their mental representation. Findings in the neuroscientific field are increasingly opening stimulating perspectives on the design of spaces, and highlight how our ability to understand other people is strongly related to our corporeity. The first part of the book focuses on the contributions of various disciplines that deal with the spatial dimension, and explores the dovetailing roles that science and art can play from a multidisciplinary perspective.
