(Academia Nacional de Musica), primera institucion de educacion musical formal en Colombia, que dio origen al primer Conservatorio de musica del pais. A lo largo de ese periodo tambien nacieron mas escuelas de educacion musical en Bogota y en el resto del pais. Historicamente nos han sido impuestos diversos modelos de educacion musical foranea, totalmente descontextualizados de nuestra epoca, nuestras necesidades, y de nuestro medio geografico y socio cultural tan diverso."
