Pero, ¿Por qué los cristianos necesitamos de un manifiesto? ¿Qué es un manifiesto en sí? ¿Y por qué este libro se considera un manifiesto? Bien, hay gente que piensa que los manifiestos son como una especie de género literario y en parte lo creo. Pero en definición, un manifiesto es una declaración pública de principios e intenciones y en su mayoría surgen en el campo de la política y también en el arte. Se dice también que un manifiesto es una pieza documental en la que se dan a conocer diversas ideas y pautas de manera intensa y concluyente. Entonces, Manifiesto Patriarcas viene a ser eso mismo para la comunidad cristiana, es una obra literaria que le brinda orientación al movimiento cristiano para el gobierno.
