Ecco una farsa campidanese vecchia maniera, dove si ride per gli strafalcioni linguistici e le incomprensioni."Oy Puru" è la storia di Fellicettu Mesu Barra, un sardo alla vecchia maniera e di suo figlio Alberto (un giovane sardo che parla ormai metà in inglese e metà in italiano, ma si rifiuta di parlare in sardo). I due ovviamente non si capiscono. A complicare le cose ci sono la moglie di Fellicettu, Rosaria, che condivide le scelte del figlio Alberto e la figlia della coppia, Gratziella, che invece segue le tradizioni del padre. Non mancano le scene esilaranti, soprattutto a causa della barriera linguistica che sembra separare genitori e figli. Altri due personaggi importanti sono Antoixeddu Su streccai, inizialmente spalla di Fellicettu nel cabaret e poi comprimario nella presente commedia; infine c'è Marieddu, il messo comunale, innamorato di Gratziella. In tutti e tre gli atti della commedia sono assicurati le risate che suscitano questi personaggi, modesti e allo stesso tempo grandi; antichi e moderni, ma pur sempre attuali. Questa commedia ha avuto una gestazione difficile e curiosa allo stesso tempo. Ne ho ritrovato i frammenti iniziali pochi anni fa, mentre riordinavo il mio archivio cartaceo, onde fare un poco di spazio e pulizia. Questi frammenti manoscritti risalivano agli anni ottanta del secolo scorso. All'inizio non avevo intenzione di continuare nella scrittura e pertanto provvidi a pubblicare questi frammenti in un volume dedicato al Cabaret in lingua sarda (il famoso "Cabarei"). Poi non ricordo me, mi venne voglia di dare più vita e più spazio a questi vecchi personaggi e così è nata questa farsa che oggi vede la luce in formato rinnovato e solitario (nel senso che per la prima volta viene pubblicata da sola e in un formato cartaceo tascabile).Alla fine del testo, in appendice, il lettore non sardofono troverà un glossarietto minimo che lo aiuterà a capire i termini più difficili utilizzati nella commedia.

"Massimiliano Perlato, nato a Saronno in provincia di Varese nel 1969, risiede a Muggiò, nelle vicinanze di Monza.
