La libertad de conciencia (religiosa o no) y todos los derechos y libertades fundamentales conexos con la misma son la esencia de cualquier sistema democrático. Las sociedades actuales se caracterizan por ser más plurales en el ámbito ideológico, cultural y religioso y, al tiempo, están más interconectadas entre sí. Estas circunstancias provocan que se produzcan, cada vez, más conflictos jurídicos a los que hay que dar respuesta. Este Manual nace, precisamente, con la pretensión de que todo alumno del Grado en Derecho conozca las respuestas que desde la perspectiva del Derecho Eclesiástico del Estado se pueden ofrecer a dichos conflictos jurídicos.
