Da un lato offre una panoramica a livello internazionale delle tendenze della ricerca applicata all'archeologia, dall'altro ha un carattere didattico-operativo finalizzato agli studi di topografia archeologica. Un certo spazio e riservato alla fotogrammetria ed alla cartografia archeologica con esempi di restituzione fotogrammetriche finalizzate e proposte di cartografie tematiche utili per la gestione del territorio (carte di rischio archeologico). Il lavoro colma una lacuna importante della bibliografia italiana.

This volume represents the most important “deliverable” of the European-funded project Radio-Past (www.radiopast.eu).
