In this book, we incorporate wisdom from Zoroastrianism on the angels of transformation and the Archangel of the Earth; from Ibn 'Arabi on the barzakh (the interface between manifestation and subtle reality), creative imagination, and the human-divine relationship; from Hazrat Inayat Khan, Pir Vilayat, and Pir Zia on contemporary Sufi teachings which state that every desire begins with a divine impulse and that the purpose of spirituality is awakening of divinity in life; as well as from realizations from the authors' meditations, inspirations, and spiritual dialogues which form the basis what they call the Gabrielite Work. Everyone has the potential to awaken to their existence in multiple realms of reality, and to contribute in a unique way from the fullness of their being to the never ending human-divine co-creative process.

Achievement Motivation In The Leadership Role Of Extension Agents written by Maimunah Ismail and has been published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-07-24 with Business & Economics categories.

This book is relevant to the practice and theory of agricultural extension. In the current context of significant changes in thinking, policy, and expectations, these changes require extension agents to respond to challenges in developing leadership skills to support and encourage changes at farm and household levels. The book has identified the background, personal, and environmental factors influencing achievement motivation in the leadership role of extension agents. The background factors are primary dimensions of diversity and are less amenable to change, exert significant impacts, and shape our basic self-image, sense of identity, and early learning experiences. Researchers often ignore the interdependence of the background factors with other (secondary) dimensions of diversity, in which the latter are changeable personal characteristics that are acquired, and may be modified or abandoned throughout life. Although the secondary dimensions of diversity are more controllable, they will be affected by other people’s decisions, which in this book we see as environmental factors. The reliability and applicability of the above-mentioned theoretical discussions have been tested in an original study involving extension agents in Iran.

Risk Failure Play written by Janet O'Shea and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-10-01 with Music categories.

Risk, Failure, Play illuminates the many ways in which competitive martial arts differentiate themselves from violence. Presented from the perspective of a dancer and writer, this book takes readers through the politics of everyday life as experienced through training in a range of martial arts practices such as jeet kune do, Brazilian jiu jitsu, kickboxing, Filipino martial arts, and empowerment self-defense. Author Janet OâShea shows how play gives us the ability to manage difficult realities with intelligence and demonstrates that physical play, with its immediacy and heightened risk, is particularly effective at accomplishing this task. Risk, Failure, Play also demonstrates the many ways in which physical recreation allows us to manage the complexities of our current social reality. Risk, Failure, Play intertwines personal experience with phenomenology, social psychology, dance studies, performance studies, as well as theories of play and competition in order to produce insights on pleasure, mastery, vulnerability, pain, agency, individual identity, and society. Ultimately, this book suggests that play allows us to rehearse other ways to live than the ones we see before us and challenges us to reimagine our social reality.
