Review:Douglas has a wonderful gift of storytelling, and will stand out wonderfully in the market! I have read many children's books, and this one has been by far one of the best children's books I've seen in ages! It's easy to fall in love with the main characters. They are easily relatable from a child's point of view. The book is also very appealing as an adult/parent/caregiver, to become part of a shareable nighttime ritual to induce a relaxed, creative sleep within the youngsters they care for. I can also see older children reading this willingly.I felt connected to Titus, Constance, Evie, Remy, and Harper on a personal level. Overall this is an amazingly charming book by a wonderfully charming author! I Can see the possibilities of cartoons and movies as well.My name's Jenifer, and I am a mother of 5

Like how scientists are trying to find are working on a unified theory that can hold the equations of Newtonian physics as well as quantum mechanics, etc, Sanath Kumar Naibhi through his book wanted to connect various self-help, Life philosophies, and concepts related to personal development. And I think that's what this book will be doing, to connect all the dots. To connect all the philosophies and best practices from all the books I loved and the practices I've received benefits from. "And this is a very practical book. Every insight in this book is the result of my own observation, experience, and reflections. So it's not just theory. All the methodologies I've suggested in this book are tested by myself and hence I'm sharing what worked for me! You may not agree to accept my perspective on life as yours, but this will definitely help you build your own." Starting from telling you what are the different forms of entropy, talking about the difference between success and fulfillment, its elements, how to find fulfillment in this journey: Life, to habits and finally explaining how your acts as of now are not wrong and its awareness and habits that are true oxygen for the fulfillment, I've tried to connect all the dots, all the aspects that have improved my life drastically, in the form of mental models of mine such as - Candlestick Analogy, 5 I's of Success, Success Archetypes, 'Life as _, The fulfillment flower, etc being served to you as a fictional story. This is a ‘personal growth’ book that everyone must start with. This gives you the context of all other books and you can continue to read them and add those concepts to the categories they belong to after you’ve read this book. In other words, this is an index for Life! Through this book, I want to encourage you to think, question, self-interrogate, reflect on all the concepts and practice all the habits mentioned in the book and feel free to make your perspective and chest of wisdom out of it.

Class War written by Anonymous and has been published by Biteback Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-06-15 with Education categories.

Ever wondered what life is really like for today's teachers? Reasoning that it's either laugh or cry, this author does both while intoning a mantra of 'July, July, July' and praying for a minor heart attack in return for a foot in the door to early retirement. From fending off inspectors to dealing with the alarming rise in mental health issues and increasing alienation of young people, it's fair to say the job has never been more difficult. Written by an anonymous author working in a state secondary school, this uproariously funny, desperately necessary book takes us inside the classroom to see morale at rock-bottom and a system on its knees. Hilarious, heartbreaking and impassioned, Class War is about the importance of good schools and talented teachers at a time when they have never been more essential. Painting a heartfelt portrait of the profession and an education system where no one should be left behind but too many are, this book reveals there is laughter to be found even as a river of effluent is sluicing down the pipe.

Dreams From My Mother written by Dame Elizabeth Anionwu and has been published by Hachette UK this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2021-09-16 with Biography & Autobiography categories.

What a page turner of a book! Dame Elizabeth uncovers the layers of her life from a childhood defined by secrets, to discovering the identity of her father, to her political awakening, and her journey to becoming a Black health radical. She uses her "bellyful of anger" to great effect, highlighting the ethnic health inequalities exposed by sickle cell disease right through to Covid-19. More than anything, her great sense of empathy and fun shine out from the page. I loved it. - DUA LIPA Dreams From My Mother is a beautiful memoir detailing an extraordinary life. Dame Elizabeth Anionwu is a an incredible role model for nurses - and for everyone. - CHRISTIE WATSON, author of The Language of Kindness: A Nurse's Story What a woman. What a book. - LEMN SISSAY OBE, author of My Name Is Why * * * It's 1947 and a sheltered Catholic girl is studying Classics at Newnham College, Cambridge. She is the first one in her family to go to university - and then she discovers that she's pregnant. The father is also a student at Cambridge, studying law. And he is black. Despite pressure to give up her baby for adoption, the young mother has big dreams for her child's future. Her daughter Elizabeth overcomes a background of shame, stigma, and discrimination, to become one of the UK's greatest ever nurses, and the first ever sickle cell nurse specialist. Recently named a BBC 100 Women of the Year 2020 and awarded a Damehood, Dame Elizabeth Anionwu has continued her work throughout her retirement, and recently brought to the nation's attention how Covid-19 has had a devastating effect on Black and Asian communities. Dreams From My Mother is an inspiring story about childhood, race, identity, family, friendship, hope and what makes us who we are. Ultimately, it is an incredibly moving story of a mother and a daughter separated by society, but united in the dreams they shared for her future. Previously published as Mixed Blessings From A Cambridge Union, this is a revised and updated edition * * * This is a powerful and compelling story of dual heritage, how an Irish girl became a Nigerian woman, and how discovering a true and total sense of identity brought acceptance, peace and joy. This story will inspire many people who have Irish and African (and other) roots and should be read by all who are interested in the history and culture of those lands. It is a unique and deeply personal account of the triumph of character, spirit and endeavour in the face of much adversity and considerable bigotry, beautifully written with a complete absence of bitterness. I felt in equal measure humbled and privileged to read it. I never cry but the concluding reflection on the mother and daughter relationship made me cry unashamedly. - PATRICK GAUL, Chair, Liverpool Irish Centre
