Kann man mit Hund auf dem Jakobsweg in Spanien pilgern? Diese Frage stellen sich immer wieder Menschen, die ihre Fellnase zum Pilgern mitnehmen wollen. Im Jahre 2001 hatte ich nach elf Jahren meine Arbeit in einem Jugendtreff beendet. Ich wollte zu mir kommen und neue Ideen für mein weiteres Leben finden. Den Jakobsweg zu pilgern schien mir die passende Idee dazu zu sein. Meine Hündin Suse nahm ich natürlich mit, wo sollte sie auch bleiben. Dieses Buch erzählt von unserer Pilgerreise nach Santiago de Compostela. 2005 erschien schon einmal ein Buch "Dos Peregrinos - zwei Pilger auf dem Jakobsweg. Die Inhalte sind in dieses Buch eingeflossen, verändert und erweitert worden. Inzwischen ist das Pilgern zu einem Teil meines Lebens geworden. Ich bin jedes Jahr auf Jakobswegen in halb Europa unterwegs. In Facebook gibt es seit 2012 eine offene Gruppe "Jakobsweg mit Hund..." Da finden Pilger mit Hund Austausch, Hilfe und Erfahrungen.

A bookstore can be a wonderful, welcoming place of both commerce and curiosity. That's the goal for Woody, an American recently transferred to England to run a branch of Texts.
