Prinsip kedua dalam Pendidikan Holistik adalah prinsip the Wholeness yaitu prinsip Keutuhan. Keseluruhan (wholeness) bukan sekedar penjumlahan dari setiap bagiannya. Sistem wholeness bersifat dinamis sehingga tidak bisa dideduksi hanya dengan mempelajari setiap komponennya. Setiap bagian dari sistem mutlak menjadi suatu kesatuan yang integrative. Prinsip keutuhan atau Keseluruhan ini, juga memberi makna bahwa tidaklah mungkin mencerap realitas hanya sebagaian dari keseluruhan entitas realitas itu. Prinsip ini sangat bertolak belakang dengan falsafah Newtonian yang fragmented, reduktif dan mekanistik. Berdasarkan falsafah Newtonian, sebuah system dapat dipelajari dari bagian-bagian system tersebut. Prinsip Keutuhan dalam pendidikan holistik adalah konsekuensi dari prinsip pertama yakni kesalingterhubungan. Artinya, jika realitas saling terkoneksi satu sama lain, maka dengan sendirinya ia membentuk sebuah sistem yang utuh. Sebuah sistem yang tidak dapat dipandang parsial dari perspektif tertentu saja. Ini mengajarkan pada kita bahwa entitas pendidikan adalah sebuah sistem yang utuh yang mustahil dapat dibangun dengan perspektif reduksionis dan parsial. Pendidikan terbentuk oleh subsistem integrative yang saling terhubung/terkoneksi serta simbiotik. Prinsip keutuhan dalam pendidikan holistik juga dapat dielaborasi dari sudut padang setiap individu sebagai makrokosmos. Dalam pendidikan setiap individu memiliki sejarah peradaban individu yang secara continue, utuh dan dinamis parallel dengan ruang waktu peradaban yang dilewatinya. Ini artinya setiap individu sebagai pembelajar memiliki keutuhan peradaban dirinya yang meliputi perspektif individual, komunitas, sosial, lingkungan global dan bahkan dalam perpsektive universal. Setiap individu akan memiliki sejarah peradabannya masing- masing. Ia akan menjadi utuh atas anugrah diri dan lingkungannya dalam membentuk peradaban dirinya secara dinamis. Sesungguhnya, keutuhan atas pribadi, komunitas serta sosial merupakan keniscayaan alamiah yang manusiawi. Artinya, ia bukan saja kebutuhan tetapi juga syarat mesti bagi kebermartabatan peradaban manusia.
