Buku ini berisikan kegiatan program kerja pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin yang di desa Sawahan Kecamatan Cerbon Barito Kuala Kalimantan Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dari penulis terdapat beberapa masalah yang dapat dijadikan sebagai program kerja di desa Sawahan. Rumusan masalah yang didapatkan adalah adanya angka stunting, scabies, hepatitis dan hipertensi yang terdapat di desa Sawahan. Maka dengan berbagai masalah tersebut program kerja unggulan yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis yaitu pemberian informasi dan pencegahan terkait stunting, scabies, hepatitis dan hipertensi. Selain itu program kerja unggulan lainnya adalah pembuatan nugget berbahan dasar tempe untuk menurunkan resiko terjadinya stunting, dan pembuatan seduhan bawang putih yang diyakini berkhasiat sebagai pengobatan dalam mengendalikan resiko terjadinya hipertensi, dan program pembuatan jamu berbahan dasar kunyit. Untuk mengatasi masalah scabies yang didapaptkan di desa Sawahan program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan adalah memberikan sosialisasi cara bagaimana melakukan Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada anak-anak yang berada di Sekolah Dasar pada desa Sawahan.

Stunting merupakan suatu kejadian dimana tumbuh kembang anak terhambat. Stunting sudah menjadi permasalahan yang diprioritaskan oleh pemerintah Indonesia melalui pernyataan presiden Jokowi Dodo yang memerintahkan untuk Bersama melawan dan mencegah stunting masih merembak guna menjadikan masyarakat Indonesia bebas stunting dan menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang sehat dan cerdas. Dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanggunangan stunting, Desa Beringin, Kecamatan Alalak, Kabupaten Barito Kuala telah melakukan apa yang telah menjadi rancangan program dalam penanggulangan stunting di kabupaten Barito Kuala. Desa Beringin ikut menjalankan program-program besutan pemerintah Kabupaten Barito Kuala dalam menanggulangi dan sebagai aksi pencegahan Stunting, terdapat 3 program diantaranya yaitu Program Permata Bunda telah dilaksanakan di Desa Beringin sejak 20 Juli 2022. Pengerjaan program Permata Bunda ialah pemberian makanan tambahan untuk ibu Hamil dan Anak Balita. Pemberian makanan siap makan yang diberikan langsung untuk makan siang kepada seluruh ibu hamil dan anak balita akan dijalankan selama 3 bulan. Program Si Berkat ialah akronim dari program Simpanan Ibu Bersalin yang Bersinergi untuk Masyarakat. Program ini masih belum dilaksanakan di Desa Beringin. Program Kelas Utama singkatan dari Aplikasi berbasis Online kesatuan lintas aksi sehat Ulama, tenaga kesehatan dan Masyarakat. Program ini juga masih belum dilaksanakan. Pihak desa pun masih belum memiliki program unggulan dalam penanganan stunting selain program dari pemerintah kabupaten.
