Selección de escritos publicados en la última década por el profesor Román de la Calle, centrados en el estudio y la práctica de la museografía. Textos con una perspectiva plural sobre el Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y de la Modernidad (MuVIM), que dan a conocer tres perspectivas complementarias que confluyeron en una etapa crítica y polémica de la política y de la cultura valencianas. Por una parte, se aborda el proyecto colectivo de revitalizar un museo y, por otra, se rememora la tensa experiencia de la censura ejercida sobre el MuVIM como práctica política prepotente. En tercer lugar, se relacionan tales situaciones con el afloramiento intenso de un debate asociativo, ciudadano y político, que marcó el punto de arranque de una reflexión compartida y comprometida sobre la necesidad de revisar los parámetros en los que se mueve nuestra realidad cultural valenciana y española.
