Negara perlu mengambil langkah agar segera memulihkan hak pilih TNI dan POLRI, prinsipnya TNI dan POLRI adalah warga negara yang statusnya sama dengan rakyat sipil. Pemilu tidak milik kalangan hak masyarakat sipil saja, melainkan juga milik semua rakyat kendati kapasitasnya kebetulan menjadi anggota TNI dan POLRI, berdasarkan prinsip kedaulatan rakyat yang tercantum dalam UUD 1945 menyiratkan setiap warga negara berhak ikut berpartisipasi dalam Pemilu.
