For a man who was a former performer, and who is an all around good guy, Donte Copney, knows what it's like to walk through life with struggles in faith, struggles in life, and he wants to help people with his new book ""Man of Faith."" The book itself has not come out yet, but it promises to be a book where people learn about Donte Copney as a real man of faith. He shared his insights, thoughts, and more, right here on Creative Pete. ""I wasn't raised in the Church, I was raised to survive, but it ended up being the Church that helped me survive,"" said Copney who grew up in Detroit in the East Warren area, with no parents, and drugs and killings all around him. He then continued on. ""When I was 15 I got adopted, and I was always jealous of the kids of the family I was adopted into, because they had parents, and they knew what it was like to be a part of a family, and I always wondered if I had parents, would my life have turned out to be better,"" said Copney. From here Donte Copney, shared his personal downfalls, as he discovered what it was like to become a man of faith. ""At one point in my life, I tried to commit suicide, because I was going through a lot, and having money problems, and I felt like God gave up on me,"" said Copney who came to realize that God was with him the whole time. Next up we discussed his book, ""Man of Faith."" ""Everything about the book is perfect, because God used my hand to write it, and I didn't do anything on my own power, because it was God who called me to do this, so I let him take control,"" said Copney who went on to say that he does well writing about God because he wants to see God's Kingdom get built, and he wants to see people get saved. ""How much you love God, can determine how much faith you have, and I want people in a struggle to know that there is a way out through faith in Jesus Christ, and that love is genuine,"" said Copney. Yet, he shared his view on other faith systems and God as a whole. ""At the end of the day, we all serve God, I don't believe that any religion is right, because they all direct you towards him,"" said Copney. Lastly, he shared his final thoughts of wisdom. ""Through the Bible you will find all the answers to your questions, if you're looking for them, and God is as real as you want him to be, so open your mind and heart, and let God transform you,"" said Copney. Thus, be sure to be on the look out for Donte Copney, and his book, ""Man of Faith,"" where he shares his faith, shares his life lessons, and more. He is truly a man of faith, and he truly wants to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, wherever he goes.

This is another reason I am writing this book. Many people are being deceived to think that they can get into Heaven by their own goodness or righteousness, but they have never really made Jesus Lord of their lives. Many people have done a lot of things in the name of Jesus, but it was their ideas, not His. A lot of people wear the cloak of religion to make themselves look good, but they fail to obey and serve the Lord. Unfortunately, this leads to judgment, not true salvation. So I ask once again, are you a righteous man or woman washed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus? This truly and simply is the only way to become a righteous man or woman. The rest of this book is just to see if we are heading in the right direction as a result of what Jesus has done for us. Be blessed in your journey and remember how much He loves you and pours His grace out on you. The main thing we need to realize is what makes us righteous. The only thing that makes us righteous is the blood of Jesus. When we accept His blood as payment for our sins and turn away from our sin nature, then we can claim righteousness but only because of Jesus. Then we can receive the Holy Spirit and become one with the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. This makes us a righteous man to be able to go to the Father with our prayers. Obedience is the next part of answered prayer. It is very essential that we hear God's voice, because obedience is not just obeying the Bible laws and principles. Obedience comes from us doing daily what God reveals to us for furthering His kingdom. He will reveal His will to us daily if we just listen and stay in that one-on-one relationship with Him. The more we walk in it, the more exciting life becomes. Then we just need to trust and believe what He tells us. Amen.

Fire In The Minds Of Men written by James H. Billington and has been published by Transaction Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1999 with History categories.

This book traces the origins of a faith--perhaps the faith of the century. Modern revolutionaries are believers, no less committed and intense than were Christians or Muslims of an earlier era. What is new is the belief that a perfect secular order will emerge from forcible overthrow of traditional authority. This inherently implausible idea energized Europe in the nineteenth century, and became the most pronounced ideological export of the West to the rest of the world in the twentieth century. Billington is interested in revolutionaries--the innovative creators of a new tradition. His historical frame extends from the waning of the French Revolution in the late eighteenth century to the beginnings of the Russian Revolution in the early twentieth century. The theater was Europe of the industrial era; the main stage was the journalistic offices within great cities such as Paris, Berlin, London, and St. Petersburg. Billington claims with considerable evidence that revolutionary ideologies were shaped as much by the occultism and proto-romanticism of Germany as the critical rationalism of the French Enlightenment. The conversion of social theory to political practice was essentially the work of three Russian revolutions: in 1905, March 1917, and November 1917. Events in the outer rim of the European world brought discussions about revolution out of the school rooms and press rooms of Paris and Berlin into the halls of power. Despite his hard realism about the adverse practical consequences of revolutionary dogma, Billington appreciates the identity of its best sponsors, people who preached social justice transcending traditional national, ethnic, and gender boundaries. When this book originally appeared The New Republic hailed it as "remarkable, learned and lively," while The New Yorker noted that Billington "pays great attention to the lives and emotions of individuals and this makes his book absorbing." It is an invaluable work of history and contribution to our understanding of political life.
