Buku ini, lebih kepada kajian 'ulum Al-Qur`an yang terkait dengan fiqih, bukan terkait tafsir maupun lughah apalagi Saintek (sains dan teknologi) yang terkait dengan Al-Qur`an. Kenapa pilihan saya jatuh ke bidang fiqih? Karena masyarakat awam tentu lebih butuh kepada fiqih dalam rangka menjaga amaliyah (praktek ibadah) secara langsung. Mengingat fakta tidak sedikit orang yang bergaya peduli Al-Qur`an tapi nol besar adabnya terhadap Al-Qur`an. Hanya saja, buku ini bukan buku ilmiah, sekali lagi, sehingga tidak ada pembagian bab, dan buku ini memang 'sebatas' antologi, kumpulan tulisan-tulisan saya yang bermula dari dua sesi program dakwah di Quantum Fiqih yaitu TAUFIQ dan KASYAF. TAUFIQ adalah akronim dari Taushiyyah Fiqhiyyah (satu arah), sedangkan KASYAF adalah akronim dari Konsultasi Syari'ah dan Fiqih (dua arah: saya dan jama'ah). Pun demikian, target buku ini adalah kalangan beginners (pemula) yang ingin menyelami Al-Qur`an secara serius, sehingga wajar bila di sana-sini ditemukan istilah-istilah yang terasa asing. Kesengajaan saya dalam setiap buku-buku saya dalam penggunaan kata asli dalam bahasa 'Arab yang ditransliterasikan adalah dilatarbelakangi kejahilan terhadap bahasa 'Arab yang notabene wajib untuk diketahui apalagi terkait agama Islam. Buku Kitab Arbain Hadits Qudsi ini terinspirasi dari kodifikasi Syaikh Prof. Dr. Ezzeddin Ibrahim Mustafa yang berjudul Forty Hadith Qudsi. Lalu kemudian ditranslasikan ke dalam bahasa Inggris oleh istri kami dan kami bubuhkan eksplanasi maupun translasi yang terinspirasi dari karya para ulama internasional dan lokal. Jumlah haditsnya kami beri bonus 1 sehingga menjadi 41 hadits meski sejatinya hadits qudsi ada banyak sekali. Menurut penelitian Syaikh 'Abdul-Qadir 'Irfan Al-'Asysya Hassuunah (2002: 434) ditemukan ada 437 hadits qudsi, dan penelitian Dr. 'Umar 'Ali 'Abdullah Muhammad (2004: 825) berhasil terlacak 482 hadits qudsi. Hadits qudsi ada yang panjang sampai ribuan huruf ada yang hanya satu baris kalimat.

Chomsky proposes a reformulation of the theory of transformational generative grammar that takes recent developments in the descriptive analysis of particular languages into account. Beginning in the mid-fifties and emanating largely form MIT, an approach was developed to linguistic theory and to the study of the structure of particular languages that diverges in many respects from modern linguistics. Although this approach is connected to the traditional study of languages, it differs enough in its specific conclusions about the structure and in its specific conclusions about the structure of language to warrant a name, "generative grammar." Various deficiencies have been discovered in the first attempts to formulate a theory of transformational generative grammar and in the descriptive analysis of particular languages that motivated these formulations. At the same time, it has become apparent that these formulations can be extended and deepened.The major purpose of this book is to review these developments and to propose a reformulation of the theory of transformational generative grammar that takes them into account. The emphasis in this study is syntax; semantic and phonological aspects of the language structure are discussed only insofar as they bear on syntactic theory.

Singapore has been taken by many researchers as a fascinating living language policy and planning laboratory. Language and education policy in Singapore has been pivotal not only to the establishment and growth of schooling, but to the very project of nation building. Firstly there is the development and training of human and intellectual capital for the expansion and networking of a Singaporean service and information economy.
