Penyusunan buku Kisah, Perjuangan, dan Inspirasi I Made Yasana ini sudah direncanakan sejak 2019. Pada waktu itu tim redaksi masih mencari konsep penyajian yang tepat untuk buku ini, hingga akhirnya rencana penerbitan buku biografi I Made Yasana ini terealisasi pada awal tahun 2021, tepat beberapa bulan sebelum sang maestro melakukan pameran secara virtual yang diselenggarakan oleh Art Moments Jakarta pada Juni 2021. Proses wawancara, pengumpulan bahan, dan penulisan dilakukan tim redaksi dan penulis dalam kurun waktu empat bulan. Proses ini tidak akan berhasil tanpa dukungan dari berbagai pihak terutama Bapak I Made Yasana beserta keluarga yang bersedia diwawancara secara virtual karena pada saat itu tidak mungkin melakukan wawancara langsung di tengah pandemi COVID-19 disertai pengetatan dan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah. Buku ini merupakan akumulasi proses perjalanan hidup Bapak I Made Yasana selama berkarya dan berjuang. Penerbit berharap dengan hadirnya buku ini, catatan perjalanan Bapak I Made Yasana dapat terekam dengan baik dan karya-karya beliau dapat dikenal lebih luas oleh masyarakat. Buku ini merupakan karya bersama penerbit dan berbagai pihak yang membantu selama proses wawancara hingga keredaksian, maka dari itu kami ucapkan terima kasih atas segala bantuan dan dukungannya.
