Eduardo também trazia na bagagem muitas dores e problemas – problemas com os quais Adam talvez não seria capaz de lidar. E, como nem tudo são flores, os espinhos os machucam. A vidraça explode atrás dele. Os estilhaços voam pelo ar, vejo o carro se aproximar, é tão nítida a imagem, nem parece que acontece em milésimos de segundos. Será o meu fim? Eu pensei. Tem coisa mais esquisita que a vida? Em um momento você está vivo, feliz, rindo, ou até mesmo triste e, em questão de segundos, sua existência acaba. Tudo acaba como se não houvesse importância. Eu não sei se esse é o fim, mas eu sei como começou.
