The epistemological and methodological issues within management sciences constitute a difficult area for theoretical reflection. The main goal of this book is to deepen epistemological and methodological reflection concerned with the foundations of organization and management in order to broaden the methodological awareness of researchers from the field of management sciences. This book does not describe paradigm change; it points out possible evolutional directions for management reflection. The key matter is to convince of the uncertainty and of the contextual nature of the knowledge obtained through management.

Why Humans Cooperate written by Joseph Henrich and has been published by Oxford University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-06-27 with Science categories.

Cooperation among humans is one of the keys to our great evolutionary success. Natalie and Joseph Henrich examine this phenomena with a unique fusion of theoretical work on the evolution of cooperation, ethnographic descriptions of social behavior, and a range of other experimental results. Their experimental and ethnographic data come from a small, insular group of middle-class Iraqi Christians called Chaldeans, living in metro Detroit, whom the Henrichs use as an example to show how kinship relations, ethnicity, and culturally transmitted traditions provide the key to explaining the evolution of cooperation over multiple generations.

God Owes Us Nothing written by Leszek Kolakowski and has been published by University of Chicago Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-11-09 with Religion categories.

God Owes Us Nothing reflects on the centuries-long debate in Christianity: how do we reconcile the existence of evil in the world with the goodness of an omnipotent God, and how does God's omnipotence relate to people's responsibility for their own salvation or damnation. Leszek Kolakowski approaches this paradox as both an exercise in theology and in revisionist Christian history based on philosophical analysis. Kolakowski's unorthodox interpretation of the history of modern Christianity provokes renewed discussion about the historical, intellectual, and cultural omnipotence of neo-Augustinianism. "Several books a year wrestle with that hoary conundrum, but few so dazzlingly as the Polish philosopher's latest."—Carlin Romano, Washington Post Book World "Kolakowski's fascinating book and its debatable thesis raise intriguing historical and theological questions well worth pursuing."—Stephen J. Duffy, Theological Studies "Kolakowski's elegant meditation is a masterpiece of cultural and religious criticism."—Henry Carrigan, Cleveland Plain Dealer

The Nature And Mission Of The Church written by World Council of Churches and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005 with Religion categories.

What is the church, and what is it for? For all the remarkable advances in understanding and cooperation among the churches, such questions remain at the heart of the ecumenical movement today. And they are central to the work of Faith and Order, as perhaps the most inclusive and diverse church-based theological forum in the world. Building on the churches' and other reactions to earlier ecumenical work -- this Faith and Order study document is a substantial, new text offered for discussion and response. Reflecting what the churches can say together about the nature of the church; identifying honestly the issues which still divide the churches; offering a framework for the churches in their common confession, life and witness -- this book will be an important resource for all who care about the nature and mission of the church today.

Forty Reasons I Am A Catholic written by Peter Kreeft and has been published by Sophia Institute Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-03-02 with Religion categories.

My title explains itself. But it’s misleading. There are more than 40 reasons. In fact, there are at least ten to the 82nd power, which, I am told, is the number of atoms in the universe. And that’s just in ordinary matter, which makes up only 4.9% of the universe, the rest being dark matter and dark energy. Each of my reasons is an independent point, so I have not organized this book by a succession of chapters or headings. After all, most readers only remember a few big ideas or separate points after reading a book. (I’ve never heard anyone say “Oh, that was a good continuous-process-of-logically-ordered-argumentation” but I’ve often heard people say, “Oh, that was a good point.” Which takes me back to my main point: “Why are you a Catholic?” is a good question. A good question deserves a good answer. Here are forty of mine.
