(Management-Studium), Veranstaltung: Management-Studiengang der Bankakademie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wenn man mit Blick auf die Wertschöpfungstiefe Banken mit der Automobilindustrie vergleicht, so züchten die Banken noch die Rinder aus denen sie Ledersitzbezüge für ihre Autos herstellen. Auch wenn Outsourcing im Finanzdienstleistungs- und insbesondere im Bankenbereich kein neues Phänomen ist, werden die deutlich überwiegenden Teile der Wertschöpfungskette weiterhin von den Banken selbst erstellt. Zwar wurde alleine im laufenden Jahr 2003 viel über geplante Outsourcing-Maßnahmen mit teilweise erheblichem Umfang berichtet - diesbezüglich sei die geplante Transaktionsbank von Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank und HypoVereinsbank genannt. Letztlich wurden aber viele Auslagerungen - wie auch diese - verworfen. Es bleibt festzuhalten, dass die durchgeführten Auslagerungen - bislang überwiegend praktiziert in sog. Inhouse-Lösungen - noch zu keiner deutlichen Verringerung der Wertschöpfungstiefe beigetragen haben. Gerade dieses ist jedoch das Postulat der Zukunft.
