Zu den Gegenständen des Deutschunterrichts gehören mittlerweile auch populärkulturelle und audiovisuelle Texte. Ist es möglich, mit diesen Texten literarische Kompetenz zu fördern? Können einzelne Dimensionen literarischer Kompetenz von einem Medium auf ein anderes übertragen werden? Und können Schülerinnen und Schüler die erworbenen Fähigkeiten dann nutzen, um sich kanonische Literatur zu erschließen? Diesen Fragen geht Teresa Scheubeck im Rahmen ihrer Dissertation nach, indem sie in einer empirischen Studie den Praxiseinsatz der von ihr entwickelten didaktischen Konzepte evaluiert. Dabei werden einerseits narrative Werbespots eingesetzt, andererseits Kurzgeschichten im unterrichtlichen Vorgehen genutzt. So können Rückschlüsse auf die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des Einsatzes populärkultureller Texte im Literaturunterricht gezogen werden. Teresa Scheubeck verfasste ihre Promotion am Lehrstuhl für Didaktik der deutschen Sprache und Literatur der Universität Regensburg. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Literatur- und Mediendidaktik. Mittlerweile ist sie als Studienrätin im Realschuldienst in Bayern tätig.

Text Analysis in Translation has become a classic in Translation Studies.
