Ecco le curiosità, la storia, le ca-ratteristiche di una forma poetica giapponese che tutto il mondo ama ma che non è così comprensi-bile come si crede, perché l'haiku ha un solo difetto: sembra facile. In questo testo si parla di come nasce l'haiku e di com'è fatto, ma non di "come si fa": questa poesia così breve è un dono agli dei, ma anche un dono degli dei. "Consiste" di tre versi di 5-7-5 sillabe, e quindi "esiste" quando questi versi sono nati, così, con il loro numero di sillabe, perfetti, senza bisogno di contare e quasi neanche di pensare. Si parla delle griglie che, fuori dai templi, accolgono i foglietti che contengono haiku per gli dei, non suppliche ma doni: il dono di un'emozione umana. Si parla dei grandi poeti di haiku, a partire da MatsuoBashō per arrivare ai giorni nostri, in Giappone come in Italia e oltre. Si parla del modo di "sentire" giapponese, così diverso dal nostro perché il loro è stato un popolo guerriero perseguitato prima dagli uomini e poi da una natura ostile e pericolosa, in un mondo in cui improvvisi squarci di bellezza sono tanto rari da essere sacri, e commoventi. Si parla dell'haiku come poesia onirica, quando lo spicchio di natura che gli dà l'"input"viene dal passato edè quindi rivissuto e reinterpretato. Si parla di grandi poeti-pittori, anche italiani. Si parla anche di una lingua tanto diversa da quelle occidentali da non poterla neanche concepire, e di "kanji"che sono disegni-parola, ma che non corrispondono a niente che ci sia noto: è solo da quando ci conoscono un po' di più che i Giapponesi discutono sulla differenza fra il nome e il verbo. Da una trentina d'anni. Laila Cresta è nata a Chiavari, Genova, il 14 febbraio 1952. Insegna da 40 anni, con esperienze a vasto raggio, dagli adulti, ai ragazzi, alle persone diversamente abili. Ama la scrittura e vi si dedica da sempre, tanto con testi ad hoc per i "suoi ragazzi", quanto con testi di svago per tutti. Quest'anno ha pubblicato una silloge di poesie, "Di Terra e di Cielo – Romanzo d'amore in versi" (La Lettera Scarlatta Edizioni) e il giallo "L'albergo del ragno", Arduino Sacco Editore. Dal mitico numero zero fa parte della Redazione della rivista "Writers Magazine Italia", dove si occupa di poesia, di haiku e di recensioni.
