El primer capitulo analiza las relaciones de produccin̤ y la organizacin̤ familiar de la p̌oca, asi como la normatividad jurd̕ica del Derecho indiano y Derecho de familia, permitiendo asi conocer la contradiccin̤ entre la familia real y la que se aspiraba jurd̕icamente. En el segundo capt̕ulo, la autora caracteriza la mujer esclava, la indg̕ena y la blanca, sus puntos de encuentro y vn̕culo destacando como diferencia bs̀ica entre ellas la insercin̤ que tienen en el proceso econm̤ico. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones que apuntan a la compresin̤ global de la condicin̤ femenina en la historia Venezolana.
